Oral Medicine

The practice of Oral Medicine provides the non-surgical medical management of patients with systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes to ensure the delivery of safe dental care.  We diagnose and manage oral components of these diseases as well as intraoral drug reactions resulting from medical care.  We also diagnose and treat diseases of the mouth to include Herpes simplex infections (fever blisters), recurrent aphthous ulcers (canker sores), allergic reactions and oral mucosal disorders such as lichen planus. There are Oral Medicine specialists who see patients in their private practice.  For an appointment, please call our administrative assistant at 954-262-1929
