Michael A. Siegel, DDS, MS, FDS RCSEd

Welcome to the Department of Maxillofacial Medicine.  Our Department includes the disciplines of Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Facial Pain.  We provide the non-surgical medical management of patients with systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes to ensure the delivery of safe dental care.  We also diagnose and treat diseases of the mouth to include Herpes simplex infections (fever blisters), recurrent aphthous ulcers (canker sores), allergic reactions and oral mucosal disorders.  The Dr. Ines Velez Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Biopsy service is the only oral biopsy service in south Florida and serves the hospital and private practice communities.  Our radiologists utilize digital imaging to deliver minimal radiation exposure while advanced imaging such as cone beam CT is also available.  Each of the full-time faculty is board certified in their respective discipline.  The Facial Pain clinic serves patients with chronic facial pain such as temporomandibular joint dysfunction pain (TMD), burning mouth syndrome and facial neuralgias with state-of-the-art treatments such as low intensity laser therapy.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if we may be of any service to you.  For an appointment, please contact the departmental administrative assistant at (954) 262-1929.

Sincerely,
