Tanya Farfan, MS, RDH is the Director of Dental Hygiene at CDM-NSU. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene program and holds a Masters degree in Nutritional Science from NSU. Prior to her present role at CDM, Mrs. Farfan served as a lecture and clinical instructor at Sanford Brown College, Ft. Lauderdale and practiced in private practice in the Baltimore-Washington, DC area. Mrs. Farfan currently treats patients in a family practice in Weston, where she lives with her family. Her interests within dentistry include the microbiome and alternative/non-pharmaceutical treatment modalities for oral diseases. Outside of dentistry, she studies homeopathy, herbal therapy, and functional health, and enjoys all things holistic and esoteric.
