Alberto Despaigne

Dr. Alberto Despaigne is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx New York. Upon graduation he opened his private practice in Manhattan where he served his community from 1976 until his relocation to Miami in 1992. While in private practice he also served as adjunct professor at NYU College of Dentistry. 

In Florida he was in private practice until 2010. Upon his semi retirement he joined the NSU  prosthodontics department. Dr. Despaigne has always had a passion for teaching. His particular area of expertise is removable prosthodontics, which he learned in his father’s private practice in Cuba as a child. His goal is to make removable prosthodontics an easy and enjoyable portion of the dental curriculum.
