Dr. (Maria) Carmen Bonilla received her Dental Degree in 2000, from the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP), in the state of Puebla, Mexico. She was in practice of General Dentistry for a number of years; in 2005 Dr. Bonilla received her Endodontic Certificate from the Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala (UAT). Dr. Bonilla is a Diplomate of the Mexican Board Of Endodontics. She has been involved in academics since her graduation from UAT, and practicing exclusively Endodontics. Her major areas of scientific research interest include regenerative endodontics, trauma and root canal irrigation. Dr. Bonilla is an internationally recognized lecturer; she is the author of several scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Bonilla is an active member of the American Association Of Endodontists as well as the Mexican Endodontic Association. Dr. Bonilla is an Assistant Professor of the Endodontic Department at Nova Southeastern University College Of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
