Dr. Carmen Bonilla is an Endodontist, who received her Dental Degree in 2000 from the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP) in the state of Puebla, Mexico. After practicing General Dentistry for several years, she earned her Endodontic Certificate from the Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala (UAT) in 2005. Dr. Bonilla is a Diplomate of the Mexican Board of Endodontics, and has been involved in academics since graduating from UAT, practicing exclusively Endodontics.
Her major areas of scientific research interest include regenerative endodontics, trauma, and root canal irrigation. She is an internationally recognized lecturer, and the author of several scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Bonilla is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the Mexican Endodontic Association. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of the Endodontic Department at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
