Graduate Prosthodontics Program

Message from the Program Director:

A warm welcome from the sunshine state. We at the NSU College of Dental Medicine offer a comprehensive 36-month program in Advanced Prosthodontics. Our program trains exceptional dentists who are looking to become outstanding professionals in the field of Prosthodontics.

As Prosthodontics is evolving, we at NSU are committed to offering state of the art clinical education for residents seeking to hone their skills. The program is supported by our Dean Dr. Steve Kaltman, Chair Dr. Alexander Bendayan along with the Program Director Dr. Niranjan Joshi to implement latest digital technologies to the field of Prosthodontics.

The three-year training in Prosthodontics, encompasses all aspects of prosthodontic treatments with emphasis on digital technologies, implant placement and restorations, complex full arch rehabilitations as well as removable prosthodontics. We believe in collaboration as a key towards excellent patient care and so strive towards achieving excellent interdepartmental collaboration.

An in-house CAD/CAM lab, 3-D printing lab, a digital resident lounge with access to 3 shape, Primescan, Exocad, Simplant, Bluesky Bio, Rayface, provides access to latest digital technologies.

Faculty with different skill sets with expertise in digital technologies, surgical prosthodontics, esthetics, maxillofacial prosthodontics offer high quality patient care to accommodate diverse needs of our patients. Our goal is to maximize patient care along with providing an excellent learning opportunity to the future leaders in Prosthodontics.

The program also encompasses a required research component. An optional Master of Science degree is available for interested applicants. Publications of research work, presentations at national conferences are highly encouraged as a part of the program. Residents are encouraged and guided to challenge the American Board of Prosthodontics certification as a part of their training
