When the Committee on Admissions (COA) makes a final decision regarding an interviewed applicant, the D.M.D. Program Admissions Office will publish and advise all applicants according the AADSAS traffic rules. Applicants may also view the status of their application at anytime on NSU Self-Service Banner (WebSTAR).
An acceptance package is mailed to applicants. All offers of acceptance are provisional. An offer of acceptance may be rescinded if the applicant does not respond to the acceptance offer or does not maintain academic standards or meet other program requirements prior to enrollment.
A notification of non-admittance is sent to each applicant declined admission. Upon request, the Office of Admissions will counsel the applicant to help increase their competitiveness for a future application.
Due to the large volume of applicants and the available spots in the class, the COA may place prospective students on the alternate list. Applicants will be contacted by the D.M.D. Program Admissions Office periodically to provide updates on the status. The applicant will be informed upon change of admission status.
Acceptance packages include an Acceptance Letter, Deposit Instructions, and ADA information for the program. The deposit must be received by the due date stated in the Acceptance Letter. Non-receipt of the deposit by the due date will result in revoking the offer of acceptance.
