Sharon C. Siegel, DDS, MS, MBA joined Nova Southeastern University in 2003 where she became the Founding Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics. She is currently serving as an adjunct faculty and a full Professor.
Dr. Siegel is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (Fellow), the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, and has served the American College of Prosthodontists as the Section Editor of the Journal of Prosthodontics since 2006, and the Associate Editor-in-Chief since 2018.
Dr. Siegel has authored over 35 peer reviewed articles, and 5 Book Chapters. She has lectured internationally on osteoporosis and women’s health issues, CADCAM and has conducted research and published extensively in the field of dental cutting. She is the 2015 winner of the Lucy Hobbs Taylor Award from the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD). She holds a patent on a dental device (2000).
She has implemented an elective course for student Well-Being for the first year and fourth year dental students. She was certified in 2021 as a Sky Campus Wellness Coach and certified in October 2022 as a Breathwork expert and Meditation Instructor.
