I have been affiliated with the US Navy as a Naval Officer in the Dental Corps since 1997 and completed my pediatric dentistry residency in 2005 from The University of Connecticut. I have many clinical experiences that also includes abroad military missions, private practice, and working with the Seminole Tribe of Florida as the lead pediatric dentist from 2010 to 2015. After serving in the role of an Adjunct Faculty at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (NSU-CDM) for 3 years (2007-2010), I transitioned from private practice into a Full Time Faculty position at NSU-CDM and was appointed as the Interim Program Director in the Post-graduate Pediatric Dentistry program from 2015-2016. I know serve in the role of Pre-doctoral Clinical Course Director for the 3rd year dental class in Pediatric Dentistry and currently have hospital privileges at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Broward Health Medical Center. My academic experiences also include working with both pre and postdoctoral students. I hold active dental licenses in the State of Florida and Puerto Rico and received my Pediatric Dentistry Board Certification in 2014.
