Catalina Mendez

Dr. Catalina Mendez is an Endodontist, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Associate Program Director of the Post Graduate Endodontic program at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She was born in Bogota, Colombia and received her dental degree from Colegio Odontologico Colombiano before earning her specialization in endodontics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota-Colombia. With over 22 years of academic experience as a faculty member at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Dr. Mendez served as the Director of Endodontics for the postgraduate program for six years and conducted research as a member of the Centro de Investigaciones Odontologicas (CIO) of the same university. In addition, Dr. Mendez has 30 years of private practice experience as an endodontist in Bogota, Colombia. She has served as an opinion leader since 2001 for Dentsply Sirona and President of the Bogota Endodontist Association (AEB) from 2019-2023 and is an active member of the Colombian Endodontic Society and Latin American Endodontic Society (SELA).
