Daniel Feit

Dr. Daniel Feit is a trained prosthodontist and Maxillofacial prosthodontist with extensive experience in clinical practice, education, and professional service. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), and completed advanced training in prosthodontics at Boston University, followed by a residency in maxillofacial prosthetics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Additionally, Dr. Feit has completed a Master's of Science in Medical Education. 

For over almost three decades, Dr. Feit maintained a private practice limited to prosthodontics in the northern New Jersey suburbs of New York City, with a focus on implant placement and restoration, complex rehabilitation, and maxillofacial prosthetics.

Dr. Feit has been actively involved in organized dentistry, serving as President of the Bergen County Dental Society a component of the New Jersey Dental Association and as a state delegate. He also served as President of the New Jersey Section of the American College of Prosthodontists.

In parallel with his clinical work, Dr. Feit has committed more than 25 years to dental education. He has held academic appointments at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, New York University College of Dentistry, Hackensack University Medical Center and currently at Nova Southeastern University.

His scholarly work includes publications in the Journal of the American Dental Association, other dental publications; and he serves as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry since 2006. He has been a  speaker at national and regional conferences, including the Greater New York Dental Meeting and the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, MA.

Dr. Feit also contributes to the advancement of dental licensure and assessment as a test construction team member for the Integrated National Board Dental Examination, at the behest of the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations of the American Dental Association. Dr. Feit is recognized as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
