Dr. Alexander Bendayan obtained his dental degree in Central University of Venezuela and specialty training in Prosthodontics at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005.

He is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics.

Previously he was Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Digital Development, Technology, and Innovation and Director of Continuing Education and also practice prosthodontics. With an extensive background in computers, data science and business he has trained in several CAD/CAM and Digital Dentistry Systems over the years.

He utilizes this technology in practice and teaching for fabrication of restorations, implant planning, milling/printing, robotic and navigation assisted surgery with 3D printed dentures and conversion dentures. . He has recently completed an Executive master’s in business administration and is a consultant on digital design for dental schools and new practices. He has lectured nationally and internationally in the area of digital workflows, 3D printing, robotic and navigation surgery and educational technologies. He is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, International College of Dentists, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Society, AI council. He is also the current president of the Hispanic Dental Association South Florida Chapter
