Urgent Care Clinic

NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY URGENT CARE CLINIC (DAVIE LOCATION ONLY)

*For patients who are NOT assigned to a student or resident (NOT a patient of record)

The Urgent Care Clinic is a walk-in clinic for patients experiencing pain, swelling, and/ or a significant compromised situation. There are limited urgent care appointments available and they will be assigned accordingly to the time of registration.

It is a flat rate, nonrefundable fee of $190, which is utilized for the evaluation, x-rays and any given treatment at the time of the appointment in the Urgent Care facility. Should the patient require any treatment in any other department at NSU-CDM, there will be an additional charge, depending on the service(s) rendered.

During an urgent care visit. Only the patient’s most urgent need will be addressed. To help prevent delays and provide efficient and safe treatment, please bring the following information with you to the clinic;

1) Physicians name and phone number.
2) A list of your medication and supplements, including doses.
3) Any recent blood work you may have.
4) If you are pregnant, please being a letter from your physician advising as to what antibiotics, pain relievers, and anesthetics which can be safely given to you.

***Please take all your medications on your normal schedule, unless your doctor has instructed you not to.

***The best effort will be given to accommodate patients who arrive within the intake hours however, if the patient remains unseen and is present in the clinic, they will be given priority during the next session. The Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (NSU-CDM) Urgent Care Clinic reserves the right to prioritize the order in which patients are admitted to the clinic in certain situations.

Hours of Patient Intake:


Monday through Friday (Except Wednesdays) 8:30am – 10:30am or 12:30 – 2:30pm
